Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Umm Al Qura Development and Construction Company has inked a contract with Numu to build a SAR700 million ($185 million) serviced apartment tower at Masar Destination in Makkah.

The project will be situated in Masar's core neighborhood and will have around 460 hotel apartments and related facilities. Numu will be in charge of the project's development after the land reserve and sale procedure is complete.

The investment will increase Masar Destination's hospitality capacity as Makkah's demand for tourist and resident accommodations remains strong.

Masar is a large mixed-use development that combines hotels, residential units, shops, and services with modern infrastructure. The destination is part of a larger urban development plan for downtown Makkah.

Umm Al Qura, which owns, develops, and maintains Masar Destination, is continuing to attract private developers and investors as the project's resort, residential, and commercial components progress.
