Sarens Adds 260-Tonne XCMG All-Terrain Crane To Tanzania Fleet

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Sarens has increased its Tanzania fleet with a new XCMG XCA260H all-terrain crane, providing a 260-tonne lifting capacity for mining, energy, infrastructure, and industrial applications.

The five-axle crane has an eight-section telescopic main boom that can extend from around 13.4m to 80m. With various jib configurations, the XCA260 platform can raise up to roughly 117m, making it suitable for larger and more complicated lifts.

Its all-terrain carrier combines highway mobility with the capacity to reach more difficult task locations, which is especially useful for mining and distant industrial operations. The crane can also function with counterweight setups weighing up to 90 tons, depending on the lifting requirements.

The XCA260H bridges the capacity gap between Sarens' regular mobile cranes and bigger heavy-lift equipment. It will target mining activities, power and energy projects, industrial closures, ports, and big building projects across Tanzania.

The new XCMG machine joins Sarens Tanzania's 350-tonne Terex Demag AC350, expanding the lifting specialist's choices for higher-capacity crane operations in the nation.
